Anyone who travels by air knows Gogo. When this leading provider of broadband in-flight Internet connectivity made the decision to move its headquarters to downtown Chicago, it selected South Water Signs to plan and implement the signage component.

This was no straightforward project. The new headquarters is on the Chicago River and the scope included a large-scale rooftop sign that would be highly visible on the city’s riverfront skyline, which complicates the permitting process.

We completed the project, which included all site signage, exterior and interior, brand and ADA- compliant wayfinding, without a hitch. We managed all up-front planning, navigated the permitting process and designed, manufactured and installed all signs, including removal of a large existing rooftop sign before installing the new halo-lit one.
