United/Continental Airlines Rebrand
There may be no better example of our ability to successfully manage large-scale programs than our sole-source completion of United Airlines’ rebranding after its merger with Continental Airlines. This was scale and complexity that would daunt less-capable providers — 254 airports and 52 ticket offices in 64 countries across six continents, in 25-plus languages, each with unique permitting and site-specific requirements — and we delivered.
We produced and installed all necessary signs, from initial-phase temporary signs to permanent interior and exterior signage that included modular panel units for ticket counters and offices as well as a wide range of channel letters and logos, monument signs, large aluminum pan signs, box signs, window vinyl, directionals and jet bridge graphics.
We managed all elements of the project, including permitting, security clearance, subcontracting, fabrication, installation and inspection, working closely with hundreds of local, regional and corporate United personnel, plus the TSA, the FAA, various port authorities and other government entities. We completed the project within a precise and demanding schedule, managing installation to avoid any negative affect on service levels.
